DSWA Northumbria Branch

Serving the craft - preserving our heritage

Welcome to the webpages of the Northumbria Branch of the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain. The branch covers the counties of Northumberland, Tyne & Wear and Durham, a large and predominantly rural area with a real heritage in dry stone walling.

The branch actively promotes the aims of the DSWA through demonstrations and presentations at rural shows in the region in conjunction with introductory training days and restoration work.

This website provides information on the history of the branch, the programme of branch events, training courses and images of our heritage of dry stone walling in the region.

For latest updates on events and activity, follow the branch on Facebook Dry Stone Walling Association - Northumbria Branch.

The DSWA is a registered charity - charity number 289678
